Be Friendly
- Respect others
- Try to explain what you're saying and say it clearly, so that others will understand you.
- Don't bash others for grammar/spelling mistakes. We're a multilingual community.
- No insults, blackmail, threats, manipulation, humiliation, you get the picture.
Be Nice in general
- Don't curse or use foul language
- Of course, no porn or other immoral stuff is allowed
- Likewise, no illegal stuff or links to it are allowed
- Try to give credit if you use someone else's picture. Simple text credits for sig/avatar pictures won't count against your sig limit.
Be Nice, Internet style
- No double posting. Use the Edit button to say something new.
- Don't use pictures directly from other sites in your sig, unless it's your own site, an image hosting site or PIF itself.
- Don't spam. Post so that people won't feel like they wasted their time reading your post. Posting off-topic is spam, especially in serious discussion threads. Exception: You can spam in introductory thread and the Spam thread.
- Don't discuss religion or politics as these turn into flamewars.
Be Nice to the Forums
- Don't mock the Forums by advertising other sites. Your sig is an exception, as are links to our Participating sites and well-known sites/pokedexes with relevant information about the subject being discussed.
- Try to create threads where they belong. You'll save us the work of moving them.
- When you create a thread, make sure another one with the same topic is not already there. Merging threads is a real pain. (And yes, bumping old threads is allowed unless you do so by spamming).
- Don't try to get around the Forum's security or do fraudulent activities such as multiple registrations.
- Keep your signature short. 250KB in images and 300px in height is the max.
- Don't argue with the staff. You're welcome to PM a mod or post in the complaint thread when you think a staff did something wrong. But if an admin says it's final, it's final.

- Feel free to have fun. If your post is generally good for the community, we won't be very strict on it.
